Steve Marotti

My name is Stephen (Steve) Marotti and I am originally from Des Moines, IA. I started my college career at Northwest Missouri State University majoring in Business Education. Life took some unexpected turns but, I finished up my degree in Psychology at the University of Northern Iowa. I currently work at Iowa Workforce Development as a Career Planner with the emphasis on re-employment strategies. I have had many different roles in management, human resources, sales management as well as sales consultation in the business world. I have made some great connections at St. Henry/St. Francis of Assisi. I have assisted with Soles for Souls and am currently on the Donation Committee for Guardians on the Greens at St. Francis. I an Associate Member of the Knights of Columbus (past committee member of the Outreach committee in Kansas) and have been an RCIA sponsor. I moved from Kansas (Iowa to Kansas back to Iowa) and joined the parish with my wife, Laicy and daughter, Abigail (Abby). I feel that a faithbased education is of the upmost importance and cannot wait to see what more can be accomplished at St. Francis. If chosen for the School Board I will work tirelessly to accomplish what the board sets forth as goals and ambitions.
